Ever got that annoying message on your dataset (*.xsd file) when opening up a project in VS2005? I was pretty irritated the first time I got it, especially since I couldn't figure out why. The project builds. The last time I closed the project everything was fine. What happened? Nothing happened. VS2005 *just* seems to choke if it is one of the displayed files when opening. All you have to do is close the dataset file and reopen. Annoying? Yes. Devestating? No.

libby, you're making me wonder which one of my friends (I think I have two now) will start calling me "Legend."

thanks for the tip, solved exactly the same problem for me, makes one wonder where are the MS testers - those typed datasets are really useful and save time, still yet so manu IDE bugs with them

Hello Darrel,
Thankyou I just thought I VS had corrupted my whole DAL. As Hakan said above I do wonder if it is worth while using datasets when they contain all of these kind of bugs.
Once again thanks a million.

Any ideas why I would get it on one web server but not another? Permissions maybe?

Scott, is this coming up in Visual Studio or some place else? If outside of Visual Studio, it could very well be something else causing the problem.
